We had some very specific rendering task in the office in the past, and we had to solve these manuallyy and it would be nice to see some features in the upcoming scene manager versions.
Render selected: in our case we had to render particle systems separately, and we was not able to do it as a batch process trough Scene Manager. On the other hand, we also had to render some reflecting surfaces selected, and we also had to do it manually.
Scene material override: also, for the particle system we have a workflow to render reflections and emissive light pass, but for this we need to override materials, with exclude by object ID.
The examples above for us are three different renders with different setup (layers, visibility, mat override, etc) at the moment, and it would be nice to have option to set up these as a batch process in scene manager.
