We added a render node in our studio, what should be done now?

  • Add on full render manager license? Where can i just double my licences?
  • Do i have to also install a second scene manager license for the render node?

Can you add detailed explanation to you “docs”. No headline or specific tab for the topic “licencing” is seen there.

The answer is pretty simple. You need to buy a second a license for the Render Manager in our shop. Once you do that, start the render manager on your new render node do the connection procedure (https://youtu.be/kzouWTKfrAU?t=88) and thats it.

Do i have to also install a second scene manager license for the render node?

Scene Manager is not required to be installed on the render nodes.
