Environment does not update in 3dsMax Environment Tab

Whenever I try to switch HDRI’s or Corona sky maps on the environment tab for different scenes, it never updates properly on the 3ds Max environment panel.

This is extremely frustrating because I cannot use Pulze to batch render the scene otherwise i.e. “Scene 5” will still have the same environment as “Scene 1”. Is this a bug? I have only noticed this after updating to the latest version of Pulze.

Please fix this or let me know if I am doing something wrong because this bug has rendered the tool unusable for my workflow :confused:

I had the same problem. I noticed that for it to work, you need to use “3ds Max settings (environment tab)” and not “Single map” in the “Scene environment” tab.

Thank you for your help! Unfortunately, I already am using the 3ds Max settings (Environment Tab) and that is where my different skys/hdri are being placed.

It doesnt automatically update this Environment tab when I batch render. It keeps the environment from Scene 01, per say.

Same here…

I have 10 scenes and for a couple of day was ok… the problem start when in one scene i put a HDRI… i´m in VRay and Pulze 2.5.5

Beta 2.5.10 it seems to work… nop… same thing (edit)

I managed to solve the problem as follows… I had to create a VraySkyMaterial for each sun and then manually connect them in the environment settings in the scene manager.

Same here with v2.5.10-beta. When I switch from a scene with coronasky environment to a scene with coronabitmap hdri the environment changes but when I try to switch back to coronasky scene it doesn’t change.

bug still happens in 2.5.11. How can this not be fixed yet? Have to go back a couple of versions I guess. No matter if it’s an hdri or a corona sky, it won’t switch when I select a new scene. All other stuff switches perfectly as one would expect. Max 2024.2 update.

I suggest you email support if you really want to have it fixed or looked at, support@pulze.io , the devs don’t look at the forums that much.
